Silvered with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down sector. GiIt brass "spade" hands. Brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain and maintaining power, Earnshaw type spring detent escapement, Guillaume integral compensation balance, free sprung blued steel helical balance spring with terminal curves, diamond end-stone. Signed on the dial and back plate. In very good condition. Dial diam. 95 mm. Notes Sold with contest result photocopies of the Concours de Chronomètres organised in 1936 by the Service Hydrographique de la Marine, to purchase the chronometers for the French Navy.
