A rectangular satinwood, rosewood and mother of pearl inlaid travel or lap desk, the lid centered with a rectangular mother of pearl inlaid rosewood plaque depicting a antlered deer or buck flanked by stylized foliage, the edges banded in rosewood veneer and inlaid with mother of pearl scrolling foliage, the hinged lid opening to fitted interior with green baize or felted writing surface, concealing storage under the lid and base with removable pen tray, small slanted compartment and a glass inkwell to both sides of the front. Approximate height 5.12", width 16", depth 9.37"
