J. Auricoste, Horloger de la Marine de l'Etat, 10, rue la Boetie Paris, No. 62.159, circa 1950. Fine mahogany keyless "Montre de Comparaison" with centre seconds, in original fitted mahogany travelling box. Fixed on a gilt brass plate hinged in a double body mahogany deck-watch type box. Mat silvered with Arabic numerals and outer minute and seconds ring. Blued steel " spade" hands. Notes The winding crown is mounted in such a way that when it is pulled out to set the hands, the centre seconds hand is reset to "0" and the balance is locked, it restarts at once as soon the winding crown is pushed back.
