Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 184811, completed in June 1889. Fine 18 ct. pink gold keyless watch with chronograph and 30 minute instantaneous recorder, in original mahogany fitted box. Four body, massive, "demi-bassine et filets" the back applied with a gold monogram: "P.J.B.". Gold cuvette engraved with a dedication dated 1899. White enamel with Arabic numerals, red outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings, sunk subsidiary seconds and minute register. Gold "spade" hands.
