Lancaster County, Pennsylvania Chippendale cherry tall chest, ca. 1775 , with boldly molded cornice and a case with 2 short drawers over 5 graduated thumb molded long drawers flanked by fluted quarter columns supported by extremely bold ogee bracket feet, appears to retain grain painted surface under a dry 19th century varnish, 60" h., 38 1/4" w.(some loss to drawer lips).
