Anonymous, German, circa 1730. Interesting and early oval silver snuff box containing a purpose built verge watch. Three part oval silver snuff box with slightly domed lid with applied portrait bust of a lady, opening to reveal the watch, the snuff compartment concealed in the base. Silver champleve, Roman hour numerals, Arabic 5 minute numerals and hait hour marks. Pierced gilt hands.
