Very fine and rare "World Time", 18ct gold gentleman's wristwatch. massive, polished, revolving bezel bearing the names of 41 towns in the world, teardrop lugs. mat silver with applied gold indexes and Roman numerals, concentric revolving dial in 24 hours for the nocturnal and diurnal hours. Hand engraved bezel. Gold fancy hands. Notes A similar watch is published in "Patek Philippe Wristwatches", page 187. This "World Time" system was invented and patented by Louis Cottier and produced for Patek Philippe, Vacheron & Constantin, Agassiz and Rolex.
