David Gide à Genève, circa 1810. Very fine 18 ct. gold quarter repeating watch, carillon with three hammers and special escapement. Three body, Empire, with reeded band and engineturned back in a sun-burst pattern. Hinged gilt brass cuvette. Gold engine-turned with Breguet numerals on a polished chapter, the center chased in a star pattern. Blued steel Breguet hands. GiIt brass, Lepine caliber with free standing barrel, virgule escapement with plain brass three arm balance, flat balance spring. Repeating on three gongs with three hammers by depressing the pendant. Signed on the cuvette. In very good condition. Diam. 56 mm.
