Clary, Swiss, circa 1800. Fine 18 ct. gold and enamel watch. Double body, Directoire, the bezel and pendant enamelled with a paillonné decoration, the back with a fine painted maiden leaning on her elbow, by a blue urn ( slightly restored). White enamel with Breguet numerals. Gold "cathedrales" hands. Hinged gilt brass full plate, with cylinder pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain brass three arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Signed on the dial and back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 54 mm.
