Fine aluminium siderographe made for "L' Aéronautique Navale - Marine Nationale" with centre seconds, double split seconds and power reserve indication. Massive aluminium, in mahogany glazed box. Two tone silvered devised in 360 degrees with outer revolving second ring, inner red decimal division and small up-and-down sector. 19-, rhodium plate, " fausses côtes" decoration, 20 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self compensating balance spring with micrometric index. Split seconds recorder with visible work. Signed on the dial, case and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 90 mm. Notes Thanks to the siderographe, the Universal Time hour angle of any star can now be obtained by means of simple addition or subtraction. The "Sideral" vernal equinox angle, marked in degrees on the dial, the straight ascension line of the star under consideration is subtracted or its straight coascension line expressed in degrees on the table is added.
