B. Poitevin fabricant, Genève, No. 37061, circa 1890. Fine 18 ct. gold, hunting cased, keyless watch with chronograph. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", engineturned, the monogram "E.P." engraved on the cover. Gold cuvette. White enamel with Roman numerals, red outer Arabic minute and chronograph ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "spade" hands. Glazed 18-, nickel plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 22 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Chronograph with visible work and push piece in the band. Signed on the cuvette. In very good condition. Diam. 55 mm.
