White enamel with Breguet numerals and gilt inner calendar ring on 30 days. Blued-steel Breguet hands. Hinged gilt brass dust-cap. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock pierced and engraved with the monogram "L. The Palais Royal, of which the name had been changed during that troubled period, to become Palais Egalité, had not, as yet, regained its original name but it was already no longera crime to engrave it on a watch.
