Le Roy & Fils, 13-15 Palais Royal, Paris, No. 14003, circa 1890. Fine gilt bronze, oval "mignonette" carriage clock. Gilt bronze, oval, glazed on five sides, entirely engraved with leaf decoration. White enamel with Roman numerals. Blued-steel "fuseaux" hands. Frosted and gilt dial plate engraved with a Ducal crown. Brass eight-day with going barrel, platform escapement with lateral lever escapement, bimetallic balance, blued-steel flat balance spring. In very good condition. Signed on the back plate. Dim. 7,3 x 6,3 x 5,2 cm. excluding the handle.
