Breguet No. 2286, sold to Mlle Noyer on 17 January 1898 for 325 francs. Fine gilt brass quarter-repeating "Petite sonnerie" carriage clock with alarm, in original fitted travelling box. Gilt brass, glazed "corniche". White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and subsidiary alarum setting dial. Blued " Romaines simples" hands. Eight-day double train movement with going barrels. Silvered platform escapement, lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued-steel Breguet balance spring. Striking, repeating and alarm on two gongs, with button on the top, Silence and petite sonnerie selection lever on the base. In very good condition.
