Very fine gilt bronze, eight-day going, quarterrepeating "grande and petite sonnerie" carriage clock with subsidiary seconds and alarm, engraved by Demengeot. Gilt brass, early "Gorge" type, glazed on four sides, engraved with a floral and foliage decoration. White enamel with Roman numerals and inner eccentric subsidiary seconds, subsidiary dial for alarm setting. Blued-steel Breguet hands. Gilt brass dial-plate also engraved with foliage decoration. Brass, rectangular with going barrels both on the going and the striking train, platform escapement with lateral lever escapement, monometallic balance, bluedsteel flat balance spring. Striking repeating and alarm on bells with button on the top and grande sonnerie/petite sonnerie/silent optional lever on the back door. Signed on the dia] and the back door. In very good condition. Dim. 15 x 9 x 8 cm. excluding the handle.
