Henry Marc, Paris, No. 23771/140, circa 1880. Fine gilt bronze, eight-day going, hour and half hour striking carriage clock. Gilt bronze "pillars" with free standing columns, glazed on four sides,entirely engraved with scrolls and flower decoration. White enamel with Roman numerals. Blued-steel Breguet hands. Brass, rectangular with going barrels both on the going and the striking train, gilt brass platform escapement engraved with scrolls,with lateral lever escapement, bimetallic balance, blued-steel flat balance spring. Striking on a bell with count wheel on the back plate. In very good condition. Dim. 17,5 x 11 x 10 cm. excluding the handle.
