Cartier, France No. 1762, made for the American market, circa 1910. Very fine and elegant 18ct. gold enamel, and diamond-set keyless dress watch. Three piece, massive, "bassine pincée", the bezel with white champleve and mauve translucent enamel lines, the back of mauve translucent enamel over engine-turning with a white champleve enamel border, centred with an applied rose-diamond set rosette.
