A Monsieur J. -J. Guerlain Watch No. 2752, completed on 16 June 1932, sold to the above on 13 May 1953. Gold watch with "grande" and "petite" sonnerie striking, minute- repeating, moon phase and double winding indicators. Notes History: First sold to a Monsieur Métadier, on 31 December 1932, for the sum of 30,000 Francs with an additional 1500 Francs, paid on 9 January 1933,on delivery for alterations made at the client's request. Bought back on 22 October 1948. Resold to Monsieur Matioli, on 22 October 1948. Bought back on 24 April 1953, it was sold to Monsieur J.J. Guerlain, on 13 May 1953. Note: The provision of double up-and-down dials for both trains as the only dial indications (apart from the elegant inverted moon) is most unusual.
