A Monsieur le Vicomte de Curzay Le compteur à pointage No. 545, sold on 16 May 1847, for the sum of 350 Francs. Gilt metal inking chronograph, of new design, with 60 minute and 12 hour counters. Notes Provenance: A letter from Breguet, dated 26 April 1926, to the firm Jules jurgensen and supplying information on this piece, would tend to confirm that at the time it belonged to this famous watchmaking company. Note:This counter is a good example of the final development of the inking chronograph as invented by Rieussec in 1821, and perfected by Fatton for Breguet in 1823.
