Notes Provenance: Formerly in the Sir David Salomons Collection, No. 86. Sold at Christie's, London, as lot 19, catalogue part II, on 1 December 1964. Exhibition: This watch was exhibited in Paris at the Palais Galliera, in October 1923, on the centenary of the death of Abraham Louis Breguet, Cat. No. 127. Literature: Illustrated and described in G. Daniels, The Art of Breguet, pp. 69, 70 and 177., figs. 140 a-c. Note: Breguet used this caliber of movement with a separate pump-wound repeating train, for many of his watches destined for the Near Eastern market.
