Vacheron - Giraud, Geneva, circa 1860. Fine 18 ct. gold and enamel, hunting cased fob watch. Four body, "forme quatre baguettes" with reeded band, bezels pendant and bow chased with floral decoration, the cover enamelled with a painted scene of a young maiden in a garden with a dove and further champleve end scrolled decoration. The back engraved in a "vermicelli" pattern, with painted champleve enamelled flowers and scrolled decoration. Gold engine -turned cuvette engraved with technical details and a floral decoration. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel fancy hands. 15–, gilt brass, bar caliber, four jewels, cylinder escapement, plain gilt brass three arm balance, flat balance spring. Signed on the cuvette. In good condition.
