Charles Good, London, circa 1760. Fine 20 ct. gold, pair cased, quarter repeating watch. Outer double body, pierced and chased with scrolls of foliage and flowers the head of a horse engraved on the center. Inner double body, the border pierced and engraved with a mask and inhabited foliage. GiIt brass dust-cap. Slightly later specially made white enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Gold "poker and beetle" hands. GiIt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain steel three arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass English cock with a large diamond end-stone. Repeating on a bell by depressing the pendant. Signed on the back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 50 mm. Notes Interessante orologio da tasca, ripetizione a quarti, con doppia cassa, in oro 20K.
