L'Epine Horloger du Roy à Paris, circa 1780. Fine small 18 ct. three coloured gold paste-set watch. Double body, Louis XVI, the paste-set bezel with chased decoration, the back chased with a basket of flowers, a mandoline and a quiver, outer garland and ribbon knot. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring (the word "Roy" has been rubbed out during the Revolution). Gold Louis XVI hands. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three armed balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Signed on the dial and back plate. In good condition. Diam. 30 mm. Notes Interessante orologio da tasca,in oro tre colori 18K e pietre.
