Meuron & Cie. , Swiss, circa 1820. Fine silver,quarter repeatig watch with double calendar and decorated dial. Double body, "forme quatre baguettes", polished with pierced reeded band. Eccentric white enamel with Breguet numerals, finely painted "en grisaille" with a harbour scene, centered with a small landscape, painted "en grisaille" in an oval cartouche. Subsidiary dials for the dates and days of the weekl (slightly chipped on the border of the winding hole). Gold hands. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain gilt brass three arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock pierced and engraved with the monogram of the maker and polished steel end-piece. Repeating on a bell by depressing the pendant. In good condition. Diam. 55 mm.
