Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 394169, made expressly for W.C. Potter, Chicago, special quality, circa 1922. Fine 14 ct. pink gold cut hunting cased, keyless watch. Four body, massive, "demi-bassine", engineturned in a lateral stripped pattern. Hinged glazed gold cuvette. White enamel with radial Arabic numerals, outer blue Arabic minute ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. Notes The absence of cover lifting spring, indicates that this watch was always designed as cut hanter.
