Breguet No. 1749, made for Bailay Banks and Biddle Co., Philadelphia, circa 1928. Fine 18 ct. white gold keyless wandering- time dress watch. Three piece, "variée carrure plate", satine with polished bezels, No. B 1749. Fixed mat silver ring with Arabic minute numerals, the time indicated by a revolving central dise with engineturned arrow, the digital jump hour visible in an aperture pierced through the point of the arrow. Notes Devised by R. Cart in Geneva, this type of wandering hour watch was patented by Breguet circa 1925.
