Not signed, circa 1793. Fine and rare ormolu, white and black marble, hour and half-hour striking, eight-day going clock with organ on the base. Designed as a "portique" with applied ormolu foliage decoration, a Wedgwood panel in gilt bronze vine branches below the dial, urn with flowers at the top flanked by two lyres and a basket of flowers below the pendulum. The organ contained in the base, decorated "en suite", a large Wedgwood panel on the front with further floral and foliage gilt bronze decoration, gilt brass side panels pierced with foliage. White enamel with Breguet numerals and inner Arabic calendar rings. Fine pierced and engraved gilt brass hands. Round with going- barrels, anchor escapement, "sunburst" pendulum with silk suspension. Striking on a bell with count- wheel on the back plate. Organ with fusee and chain, fly regulator, wooden pin-cylinder and 16 pipes, playing 13 different tunes. In very good condition.
