Patek i Spolka, W Genewie, No. 1842, circa 1846. Fine and very rare early keyless quarter repeating watch with special escapement. Three body massive "pomme et bassine carrure plate", polished with reeded band, the }Jack applied with the gold monogram "A.V.", (later winding crown). Hinged gold cuvette. D. White en White enamel with Roman numerals (hair lines). Blued steel Breguet hands. Notes This watch was certainly among the very first keyless repeating watches. Patek watches with duplex escapement are also extremely rare.
