Longines, Swiss, No. 5789292, circa 1935. Fine aircraft board chronometer with split seconds chronograph, 36 hour power reserve indication and special device with revolving dise to set time within a fraction of second. Duralumin with reeded bezel, crewed in a double body mahogany box with hinged lid. Mat silvered with Arabic numerals, outer revolving chronograph ring and inner up-anddown sector. Blued steel hands. Notes The split second's hand las to be stopped at the hour signal; the revolving chronograph ring must be turned in order to set the division "60" facing the split second's band which is then released to join the other chronograph hand. The chronometer is therefore set to time within a fraction of second.
