Unsigned, Swiss, circa 1900. Fine silver singing bird box, in original fitted case. Two part rectangular with shaped front and side panels, fully engraved with scrolled foliage and birds, the back with hinged compartment for the key. The enamel lid, painted with a scene depicting a young boy feeding young birds in the nest. Pierced foliage grill. Multicoloured feathered bird, with moving body, wings, tail and beak. Brass rectangular with going barrel fly regulator and rectangular bellow. In very good condition. Dim. 100 x 64 x 40
