Meuron & Comp. (Geneva), circa 1800. Fine and elegant 18 ct. gold, quarter repeating watch. Double body, Directoire, engine-turned, with fixed bezel. Hinged gilt brass cuvette. Gold, florally engraved, with Breguet numerals on white enamel cartouches and outer minute ring, the centre enamelled with a painted scene of a young girl with a lamb in an oval medallion over a green enamel decoration. Blued steel Breguet hands. Gilt brass with gold wheel train, Lepine calibre with free standing barrel, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring with regulator. Repeating on gongs by depressing the pendant. Signed on the cuvette. In good condition. Dim. 61 mm.
