Breguet No. 1963, sold in 1928 to M. Jean Brenot for 4'000 francs. Extremely fine and probabily unique, large, tonneau-shaped, 18ct yellow gold and stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with coaxial single button chronograph on the winding-crown, register and tachometer. bicoloured, shaped, massive, polished, satined, lapidated lugs, stainless steel bezel, screwed bars. mat silver with painted Arabic numerals + auxiliary seconds and 30 minutes register dials, at the centre, spiral tachometric scale. "Moderne" blued steel hands. Notes This watch is very rare because of the shape of its case and the very special iconography of the tachometric scale on the dial. The price of 4'000 francs paid at the time for a wristwatch is enormous, considering the period of crisis in the international financial world.
