Patek Philippe & Cie. , Genève, No. 90091, case No. 205330, manufactured expressly for Wright Kay & Co., Detroit, circa 1892. Very fine and extremely rare, 18 ct. pink gold keyless watch with split seconds chronograph and instantaneous 60 minute centre recorder. Three body, massive, "bassine", polished with concealed hinge, the back engraved with a small monogram. Gold cuvette engraved with a dedication dated 1918. White enamel with radial Arabic numerals, outer red Arabic minute, chronograph and minute register ring, sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. Notes As mentioned on the cuvette, this watch was apparently made on spécial order for no other split seconds chronographs by Patek Philippe with central minute register are known to exist.
