Unsigned, Swiss, circa 1890. Fine gilt bronze eight day going "Mignonette" carriage dock with mother-of-pearl panels. Gilt bronze "Anglaise riche" with fluted columns, glazed top, front and back, the side panels of mother-of-pearl engraved with floral and canopy motives. Mother-of-pearl with Arabic numerals. Blued steel "spade" hands. Dial-plate of mother-of-pearl, engraved with garlands, a basket of flowers and further floral and foliage decoration. Rectangular, frosted silvered with going barrel, silvered platform with lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. In very good condition. Dim. 60 x 40 x 35 mm., excluding the handle.
