Terrot à Genève, circa 1810. Fine and unusual gilt brass and enamel paste-set watch with central visible cock. Double body, Directoire with paste set bezels, the enamel back centred with a paste-set framed glazed cock aperture flanked with painted fountaines within niches, outer foliage decoration over a blue ground. Eccentric white enamel with Breguet numerals and subsidiary sector for regulator (restored on the winding hole border). Gilt brass Breguet bands. Gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance with flat balance spring. Central gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Signed on the back plate. In good condition. Diam. 52 mm.
