Golay Fils & Stahl, Genève, No. 37795, circa 1920. Very fine and rare platinum, diamond and jet-set keyless Art-Deco brooch-watch. Double body, the watch hinged on the border of the hexagonal brooch. Small square mati silver with Arabic numerals. Blued steel hands. 2 1/2, rhodium plated, "L" shaped, "fausses côtes" decoration with Geneva quality marks, Niton ebauche, 18 jewels, straight lire lever escapement, fully adjusted cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the brooch and movement. In very good condition. Dim. 42 x 22 mm. Notes By the tune this brooch-watch was made, only Niton was producing such "L" shaped movements.
