Unsigned, probably made in Sainte- Croix, Swiss, circa 1880. Fine and unusual silver and enamel music box. Two part with a fine enamel panel painted with a fine scene of Venus with Nymphs and Amour, the sicle panels chased with foliage decoration, engine-turned back, key compartment on the back with hinged lid. 57 mm. pin cylinder with 17 groups of three vibrating blades. In very good condition. Dim. 93 x 78 mm.
