Derepas, Palais Royal No. 23, Paris, circa 1810. Fine silver pocket chronometer. Three piece, Empire, polished, the back pierced with five holes in order to make it more sensitive to the slightest change of temperature. White enamel with graduations for Reaumur degrees. Gilt brass, constructed on a principal similar to that used by Houriet, Jiirgensen and Breguet for their thermometers, with bimetallic curb, rack and pinion. Signed on the dial. In very good condition. Diam. 48 mm.
