In the year 2100, when other perpetual calendars will have to be returned to the factories to be opened and reset by qualified experts, the Perpetual "Ludwig" will be simply adjusted with the crown one day backwards to be on time for the next 100 years. All adjustments from the minute hand to the year indicator are synchronised. With a few rotations of the crown, all calendar displays are moved forward some days, a few months or even several years.
