Brass bowl and gimballed suspension. Frosted and silvered with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and 48 hour Up-and-Down scale. Gilt brass "spade" hands. Brass, "spotted" decoration with turned pillars, fusee with chain, maintaining power, spring detent escapement, free sprung "integral" compensation Guillaume balance, blued steel helical balance spring with terminal curves, diamond end-stone. Signed on the dial and movement. In very good condition, with copy of the Observatory records. Dial diam. 105 mm.
