Jacob Maentel(American, 1763-1863) - Watercolor on paper full length frontal portrait of Elizabeth Preston flanked by her nephew, Frank Crumb, and her niece, Elizabeth Ann Crumb, ca. 1840, in a garden setting with a dog in the foreground, 11 1/2" x 9 1/2"(losses). Provenance - Executed in Palmyra, Illinois and descended in the family to the present owner.
