Atmos, Pendule Perpetuelle, J. L. Reutter patent, No. 539, Swiss, made in the late 1920's. Very fine early gilt bronze, perpetual "ATMOS" clock. Rectangular, glazed four sides and top with rectangular base with knurled bun-feet. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer minute ring. Blued steel Breguet hands. Reutter system winding by changes in air pressure, anchor escapement, long period rotating balance with poising screws and filar suspension. Lever in the base to lock the balance. Signed on the dial. In very good condition. Dim. 33 x 20 x 15 cm.
