Attributed to Allan Rohan Crite (American, 1910-2007) The Virgin and Child. Unsigned. Woodblock print with hand coloring and gold leaf, sheet size 9 x 4 1/2 in., framed. Condition: Rippling, toning, staining to the reverse, remnants of brown paper tape around all four sides. N.B. This print closely resembles a signed woodcut by Crite, without the gold leaf and hand coloring, dated 1936, which was part of a triptych that included the Four Evangelists.
