Carved and Painted Poplar Eagle on Stand, possibly Pottsville, Pennsylvania, late 19th/early 20th century, the spreadwing figure mounted on a sphere with incised feet, over a ring-turned shaft and square base, (repairs), overall ht. 15 1/4 in. Note: Labels on the base indicate the figure was found in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, purchased in Florida in 1947, and was once in the Abby Rockefeller collection. Glue repair to one wing and beak.
