Catharni Stern (English, b. 1925-), "Female Nude", diminutive patinated bronze with black base, monogrammed on led "CS". Figural miniature bronze sculpture depicting female nude, nude with arms raised to shield her face. Overall with base approximately 3.75"x 1.125" x 1.5". Provenance: John Whibley Gallery Ltd., London, England; whereby acquired by the Estate of Mr. Joseph Gilbert of Atlanta, Georgia on 11/26/66. Copy of purchase receipt available upon request.
