Rare Eighteen-Piece Mocha Dipped-Ware Tea Set, attributed to Charles and Jacob Leigh, Douai, France, c. 1800, yellow-bodied set comprising six cups and saucers, teapot and cover, sugar bowl and cover, cream jug, and a bowl, all with rouletted rows of beads highlighted with white slip bracketing inlaid bands of agate, ht. 1 1/2-6, bowl dia. 6 in. Three saucers with minor rim/foot chips, one cup with minor rim chips, hairlines in base of teapot, old overspray to interior of bowl.
