Five English Pearlware Table Items, late 18th/early 19th century, an oval teapot with recumbent lion finial on the cover, molded with a band of swags and tassels, and reeded band around base, acanthus leaves around spout and on handle, speckled dark blue glaze; a pair of blue and white chinoiserie decorated plates with molded feather rim band; a quart mug with flower and leaf decoration, and a covered sugar bowl with peafowl and leaf decoration, (imperfections), ht. 4 1/2, 5 7/8, 5; plate dia. 8 1/8 in. teapot-cover has a few small chips on cover rim, teapot body few tiny chips around the shoulder edge, base has about 7 hairlines, some connecting, a couple very small minor rim and spout chips. plates-each has a couple very minor rim chips. mug- 1/2 in. crack on base with associated 1/2 in. base chip cov'd sugar bowl- 4 x 2 in. bowl side repaired, one handle repaired, 1/2 in. cover rim chip and a couple 1/8 in rim chips on cover; 1/2 in. base chip.
