Molded Sheet Copper Gamecock Weather Vane, America, late 19th century, full-body figure with embossed sheet copper tail, supported on a copper rod, original weathered verdigris surface, no stand, (losses on tail and vertical support, dents, seam separation), ht. 18, lg. 16 3/4 in. Top of head with dent and seam separation, losses to tail feathers, tips, 1 1/2 in. crack on tail, loss to vertical support with make-do copper wire repair.
