Pieced and Appliqued Cotton Sunburst Pattern Quilt, America, late 19th/early 20th century, composed of nine sunbursts in predominantly red, green, and orange printed and solid cotton segments, bordered by an undulating blossoming vine, on a white ground, edged and backed with white fabric, with outline, diagonal line, and diamond quilting patterns, (fading, light toning, scattered stains, oxidation holes in the red printed fabric), 96 x 99 in. The quilt shows fading, light toning, scattered stains brownish stains, it feels like it has been washed several times.
