Pair of Jacobean style walnut wood carved open armchairs with ornate backs with scrolling, shell, and leaf tip motif, turned, tapered, fluted and leaf accented shafts above undulating arms with scrolled ends, floral fabric upholstered seat joined to frame with large nailhead tacking, cross support at front with scrolling and acanthus leaves, scrolled feet at front joined by turned stretcher to square legs at back. Overall approximate height 55", width (across arms) 27.25", depth 27.5", seat to floor 18.25".
